What is re-export through Dubai
Re-export is when goods arrive from China into a Dubai free zone, are stored and consolidated there, and then shipped onward to Ukraine. The goods' origin remains Chinese, and the documents reflect that.

The main reasons for re-export through Dubai:
- consolidating orders from different Chinese suppliers in one place;
- storage and distribution via Dubai free zones;
- route flexibility when the direct path is inconvenient or more expensive;
- the option to ship as groupage together with purchases in the UAE itself.
How the China → Dubai → Ukraine route works
